To take care of all your travel plans, we have been working closely with a travel agency that specializes in destination weddings, Vibe Thrive Travel. With their help, we have reserved a block of rooms with special group rates at the resort.

To take advantage of the discounted pricing, all guest must have their hotel reservations made by February 7th, 2027 with a 1 night deposit. The remaining balance will be paid upon check-in.
Discounted rates are valid from xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx. Please note, there is a 3-night minimum stay required by the resort. We strongly suggest guests to make their reservations as early as possible to ensure room availability for our celebration! All bookings are fully refundable until 21 days prior to arrival.

Our Story
We met through Travis’s cousin, Courtney, who married my childhood neighbor and family friend, Terrance. (Fun fact: Terrance will be officiating our wedding!)
At the time, I had my travel-nurse girlfriends in town for the weekend, and we had plans to go to a Zach Bryan concert that following Tuesday. On Sunday, after spending the day at the pool, we headed to The Other Place in Overland Park for a little Sunday Funday. Courtney had been telling me for months that she wanted to set me up with Travis, but somehow, the months went by and we still had never met.
That all changed that Sunday when Travis showed up at the bar and Courtney finally made the introduction. His stepdad, Jerry, was there too, although I had no idea who he was at the time. I just knew him as “Jerry,” Courtney’s uncle. Let’s just say I left a lasting impression on him on day one!
We eventually moved on to another bar to play pool, darts, and keep the fun going. Since my friends were in town for the Zach Bryan concert, I jokingly asked Travis, “Do you want to come to the concert with us?” Without hesitation, he said, “Hell yeah!” and bought a pit ticket right then and there.
The next day, I took the girls to a Royals game to give them the full Kansas City experience. While we were there, Travis texted me and said, “Jerry, Terrance, and I are here if you want to meet up.” When we met up before the game, I asked Travis, “Who’s the older guy you’re with?” He replied, “Jerry? That’s my stepdad.”
LOL. I immediately realized I had made a pretty memorable first impression on him the day before!
The next day, we all went to the Zach Bryan concert together. Travis got to meet my sister, brother-in-law, my second sister, Lanie, and literally nine other people I knew. I remember thinking, I hope you’re ready for this.
Little did we know, that weekend would change everything. We have spent every day together since, and to this day, that Sunday remains one of my favorite Sundays because it was the day I met the love of my life.
Since then, we’ve accomplished so much together. We’ve remodeled a home, moved three times, lived with his parents, traveled to some pretty amazing places, and started our life together in Basehor, Kansas, with our girl, Mabel Mae.
Through all of the adventures, moves, projects, and memories, we’ve grown together and built a life we love. We couldn’t be more excited to finally become husband and wife and celebrate this next chapter surrounded by all of our favorite people.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

We'd love for you to think of this as your vacation with our wedding in between! We recommend arriving at least 1 day before the wedding. Please note, there is a 3 night minimum stay requirement.
Cancel 21+ days before arrival for a full refund. Cancellations within 20 days will be charged one night. No-shows, late arrivals, or early departures are charged in full.
